Why is color so hard to relate from one person to the next ? |

Beyond the physical effects of lighting, people perceive color differently. For example most people can agree what color cobalt is, but what is the difference between cobalt that is bright or vibrant? Ask three people and your apt to get three answers. The color gets across when the base color has a reference to which most agree. Examples of these are 7up green, cobalt, royal purple, clear, aqua or carnival. Even these colors can be misunderstood. Where does aqua end and teal or turquoise begin? |
